Description

The MA500 access control is a flexible biometric access control terminal that may be used in standalone or network mode for software administration through TCP/IP or RS485 communication. It’s strong backlit keyboard and solid metal enclosure make it vandal-resistant and IP65 certified, making it suited for high traffic and severe locations.

The MA500 may also be used as a Wiegand fingerprint reader for third-party control panels, giving it a viable alternative to traditional proximity or keypad access control systems. It is compatible with the most recent firmware, the ZKAccess3.5 management software, and the FR1200 fingerprint reader, enabling Master and Slave solutions over an RS485 connection. The MA500 may also be used as an RS485 fingerprint scanner with inBIO series controllers.
